Protocols Supported
Omni Flow Modbus Protocol
The Omni Flow Modbus protocol works in tandem with the Autosol Communication Manager (ACM) to ensure companies are delivered its most valuable data from the field, helping to manage ICS and SCADA systems. The Omni Flow Modbus protocol delivers users flow measurements from pipelines. These measurements include readings of natural gas or oil that is flowing through the pipeline or other medium. That data will then be analyzed for billing purposes, using software such as Flow-Cal or Quorum PGAS.
ACM and the Omni Flow Modbus Protocol
ACM works hand-in-hand with the Omni Flow Modbus protocol by collecting and delivering data to your most vital SCADA systems — both reliably and securely. This partnership will deliver data to control rooms, both securely and organized — alleviating concerns that may arise regarding security, maintenance and production for upstream, midstream and downstream markets.
Maintaining and upgrading SCADA systems for less money
AUTOSOL has spent more than 30 years in the oil and gas communication field, and has developed numerous custom drivers to support native protocols on a variety of field devices. This work allows companies to continue to use older legacy devices while continuing to upgrade and maintain their SCADA systems. Because ACM can speak with a variety of devices, companies are not constrained by having to settle for using just one brand of monitoring equipment. This flexibility expands company’s options that are looking to upgrade its SCADA control systems.
AUTOSOL takes security very seriously, as ACM is FIPS 140-2 Level 1 validated using SSL encryption. Connect with us to learn more about how ACM supports the Daniels Modbus protocol and many other Modbus protocols.
