ACM Real Time SCADA Features

ACM R/T SCADA is a “Real Time Only” variant of polling software ACM. Only the full version of ACM retains history. The ACM R/T SCADA software boasts features for local and remote users, from ease of use to certified FIPS 140-2 Security Level 1, to remote and multi-client configuration. ACM R/T SCADA also accommodates any type of device, prolonging the life of your legacy equipment and systems.

This advanced SCADA polling engine supports multiple protocols over a single telemetry channel or circuit, meaning data from various devices is collected into one single stream for transmission. This data is separated and displayed in its original format when received. Regardless of your telemetry circuit connection, ACM R/T SCADA will support any and all types simultaneously.

ACM R/T SCADA includes time-saving features including:

  • The ability to modify the configuration while the system is “on-line” and the capability to reconfigure without server restart
  • The configuration program without an OPC Client offers data and communication status details with commands such as Demand Scan
  • Includes an audit trail, logging configuration changes

Both local and remote users are able to assign polling priorities to items and tasks that will be recorded on the logger program. Used as a secure diagnostic tool, the log can be used locally or remotely by identified support personnel to detect issues. A primary benefit to the remote diagnostic capability is that technicians can assess a problem on site or conveniently from their office instead of going between sites to determine an issue and plan for fixes, saving time. Combining the remote diagnostics with mobile devices means on-the-go technicians are constantly connected to the data, which allows them to remedy problems faster.

ACM R/T SCADA also provides the ability to run SQL-queried reports in the Reports Server. In the event of a system failure, the product allows automatic switch-over since it supports redundant communication paths, configurations and load sharing.
