Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing robust automated test frameworks, writing efficient test scripts, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test cases using C#

· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

· Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to understand new features and validate functionality early.

· Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.

· Perform code reviews of automated test code and assist in troubleshooting complex technical issues.

· Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and contribute to quality initiatives.

· Mentor team members on automation best practices and tools.

· Continuously improve automation strategies and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

· 3+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on C# automation in a Windows OS Environment.

· Strong programming skills in C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.

· Hands-on experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, WinAppDriver) and API testing (e.g., REST Assured, Postman, Swagger).

· Familiarity with testing frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.

· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

· Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies (Agile/Scrum environments preferred).

· Experience with performance testing, security testing, is a plus.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
