Software Developer I

As a Software Developer I, you play a crucial role in writing and debugging code, troubleshooting software issues, and collaborating closely with other developers to enhance the functionality of our products. You are responsible for attending developer meetings, contributing ideas, and continually improving your coding skills to meet the evolving needs of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to following all AUTOSOL software development processes.

Software Developer I Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and debug code to meet project requirements and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers to enhance product functionality and user experience.
  • Attend daily developer meetings to discuss status, project progress and requirements.
  • Continually improve coding skills through self-learning and training opportunities.
  • Adhere to all AUTOSOL software development processes and best practices.

Software Developer I Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, C#).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and best practices.

Location

Houston, Texas in-person preferred.
