See Where You Can Meet Up with the AUTOSOL Team

Three-Day School

International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement (ISHM) May 14 – 16, 2024

Schedule some time to meet up with AUTOSOL’s Luis Castillo and David Blanco at International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement, informally known as ISHM. This event is held in the Oklahoma City Convention Center located at 100 Mick Cornett Drive, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

David Blanco will be giving a forty-five minute presentation entitled “SCADA and Field Data Capture in the Cloud.”

The presentation will cover SCADA related topics like discussions around Industry 4.0 transformations, the technologies driving innovation today in regards to updating and modernizing legacy SCADA systems, and different strategies and solutions to consider. AUTOSOL’s eACM is one of the technologies that is helping to close the gap on the older systems by reducing necessary bandwidth being used to collect and transmit critical data.

But wait– there’s more! Luis Castillo is also giving a forty-five minute class called “OPC Fundamentals” on Wednesday May 15, from 4:10-5:00 pm in Room 302B.

In this segment, Luis discusses what Open Platform Communication (OPC) is, and how it is used. The topic generally covered is how OPC simplifies SCADA communications for the energy industry as a whole.

ISHM is a three-day school that includes classes in the following hydrocarbon fields of specialization: gas and liquid measurement, industry standards and regulations that surround them, equipment like regulators and controllers, how to make calculations, telemetry and flow computers, chromatography, field and office applications, training programs and procedures, calibration, proving and inspection, audits, accuracy and oil accounting and unique measurement scenarios.

The International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement curriculum includes measurement and handling of all petroleum liquids, ranging from liquefied natural gas (LNG) to tar sand slurries. Attendees have access to more than 130 oil and gas measurement equipment manufacturers and service providers in 90,000 square feet of brand new exhibit space! Since 1987, AUTOSOL has built a deep knowledge of not only protocols, but of the communications, security, field devices and HMIs that come together to create complete SCADA and BMS system views. We leverage this insight to be a trusted technology advisor and partner: delivering future-ready solutions grounded in rich historical experience. Come test our knowledge at the International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement!
