Ignition Oil and Gas Collective Meeting, June 13, 2024

AUTOSOL is excited to sponsor The Ignition Oil and Gas Collective (IOGC) meeting on June 13, 2024 at The Petroleum Club in downtown Houston, Texas. The IOGC provides an outlet for the Ignition Oil and Gas end-user community to meet and discuss various aspects of the Ignition software and its functionality as it relates to Oil and Gas industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA. 

The IOGC is also a great place to question and discuss bugs, development, and features with Inductive Automation that are important to the industry. Sharing, learning, and exploring together can accelerate discovery of new exciting possibilities, which benefits all members of the IOGC.

Tentative Agenda:

• Ignition Developments and Updates. – Inductive Automation
• ACM Roadmap by Trent Franklin and AUTOSOL Edge EFM by Cody Pannell. – AUTOSOL
• Solving the Digital Twin Problem with MQTT Sparkplug and Snowflake Data Cloud Platform. – Cirrus Link, Snowflake
• Standardized Upstream Oil and Gas Apps for New and Existing PLCs and RTUs. Introduction to deploying plunger and gas lift optimization and API compliant gas and liquid flow measurement with the PLC Shift app platform. – Reverity
• LoRaWAN from Proof of Concept to Production. Exploring the fundamental concepts of LoraWan and following a journey of hardware selection and deployment for pipeline and asset IIoT monitoring. – WaterBridge
• Using Big Data for Preventative Alarming. A discussion about migrating to TimescaleDB and leveraging statistical methods to detect abnormal operating conditions. – WaterBridge

IOGC membership is generally restricted to individuals with oil and gas companies that are currently using the Ignition software or plan to do so in the future. This event is free to attend for IOGC members.

Select vendor and system integrator members are allowed if they are actively working with an oil and gas member that will vouch for their membership and sponsor them. Vendor and integrator membership does not constitute a sales opportunity.

The Ignition Oil and Gas Collective Meeting is in the Legacy Room of the Petroleum Club, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The address is 1201 Louisiana Street, Houston, TX 77002. The club can be found on the 35th floor. The venue’s dress code requires a collared shirt and a jacket is suggested.
