AUTOSOL Introduces the Latest Release of AUTOSOL Communication Manager®, ACM 8.0

FEBRUARY 6, 2020—Houston, TX—Automation Solutions, LP (AUTOSOL), provider of leading solutions for industrial data delivery and SCADA automation, has announced availability of ACM 8.0, the latest release of its AUTOSOL Communication Manager® (ACM) software. AUTOSOL’s ACM is a full-featured platform for industrial data communications, enabling multi-protocol polling for both historical and real-time data delivery. Among new features included in the software update are support for new protocols, security improvements and the ability to support a larger configuration on a single server.

Specifically, ACM 8.0 has added protocols for Dresser Micro Corrector, ROMET-AdEM, Siemens S7, Teledyne CA, and Honeywell Mercury Instruments EC 350 & ERX 350. In addition, authorized users will have the ability to assign permissions on all objects, objects of a specific type, or specific properties on objects of specific types for create/update/delete operations and command execution. The software is now available in both 32-bit and 64-bit, providing for greater flexibility in configuration size.
