OneSCADA’s SCADA Manager’s Property Import/Export function allows its users to quickly configure device details in large quantities, such as alarm descriptions, alarm limits and tag names. This function will export the requested attributes to a .csv file that the authorized user can make changes to. Once the changes are completed, the user can then import the file to implement the edits. The function will also, at time of export, create a copy of the .csv file in a “Restore” folder in case the user decides to revert the update.

An Exported .csv file
For the more technologically advanced user, OneSCADA permits the ability to create a custom query against the ClearSCADA database in order to generate a list of the attributes they wish to see or update. These query results will be exported to a .csv file where values can be updated and the file then imported.
Several Standard Queries are available out of the box, and the ability to create and save your own custom queries is available. Many ClearSCADA maintenance type tasks can be more easily facilitated in this manner.
