OneSCADA’s Communication Utility in the SCADA Manager feature is designed to assist with discovering communication issues in your system. The front page of the Properties section provides its users all of ACM device’s communication information you need to begin troubleshooting potential communication issues. Here, you will find login settings, details of the primary and secondary connections as well as any defined intervals in the device’s associated schedule.
To test connectivity, users can then use a variety of ping tests of the IP address that the device is using to confirm that the IP address can be reached. The time required for a round-trip from the originating host to a destination computer is shown.
