Software Applications Developer

AUTOSOL is looking for C++ and C# developers to join a software team developing and maintaining products that run on both Windows and Linux platforms. 

Basic Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. In lieu of a BS degree, significant experience in C++ or C# development is acceptable.
• 3+ Years development experience in C++ or C#.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of SOLID design principles.

Desired Experience

• Experience with Test-driven development.
• Experience in Windows forms development.
• Experience with SCADA and SCADA products.
• Familiarity with Linux Development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Databases.
• Familiarity with other languages e.g. Python, JavaScript, SQL.

Responsibilities Include

• Implementing customer feature requests and fixing bugs in existing software.
• Optimizing existing products with respect to code/memory and performance requirements.
• Maintaining requirements, design, architecture, code and tests for different parts of the product.
• Working with a team on new product development.

Location

Houston, Texas in-person preferred.

Remote option for applicants from the following states and provinces: New Mexico, Florida, Texas, and Alberta, Canada.
